Hotels & Directions
CIPU recommends the Junto, a modern hotel located directly across the street from where the Summit is being held. The price, location and service are first rate. Space is limited. https://thejuntohotel.com/
There are several hotel brands in Columbus in proximity to COSI, Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton, etc. Reservations are available though Hotel.com, Booking.com, or reserve directly with the hotel.
For those who are driving parking is available in the COSI building and nearby. COSI is located at 333 West Broad Street.
Air Travel
Flights to Columbus’ John Glenn International Airport are plentiful from many locations. From Washington the flight is about an hour, less than two hours from NYC, 70-90 minutes from Chicago. There are direct flights from L.A. and multiple flights from San Francisco.
POLICY FOR USE OF MEDIA
The Center for Intellectual Property Understanding (CIPU) reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any event sponsored by CIPU, without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video.
CIPU and its affiliates may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced, used, or contracted by CIPU, including but not limited to brochures, invitations, books, newspapers, magazines, television, videos, websites, social media, etc.
By participating in an CIPU event or by failing to notify CIPU in writing of your desire to not have your photograph or footage of your presentation and/or panel used by CIPU and its affiliates, you are agreeing to release, defend, hold harmless, and indemnify CIPU and its affiliates from any and all claims involving the use of your name, biographical information, picture, or likeness.
A person attending an CIPU event who does not wish to have their image recorded for distribution should make their wishes known formally by contacting CIPU in writing at explore@understandingip.org of their intentions and include a photograph. CIPU will use the photo for identification purposes and will hold it in confidence.
Any person or organization not affiliated with CIPU may not use, copy, alter, or modify CIPU photographs, graphics, videography, or other similar reproductions and recordings without the advance written permission of an authorized designee from CIPU.
